The Mercedes Journey Day 4: Level 128-153

I really leveled a lot today. This is because I trained a lot too, about 8+ hours total.  I trained quite a while before 2x, because I wanted to be sure to get a map. I got from 128-139 on only 1.5x. I changed party once, but I stuck witht he 2nd oine all through 2x and 4x events. I also got the special box from hot time event, which contained an sp and ap reset, an elven tiara that gives special stats if you are a mercedes and comes epic on reveal, some fame and a level up capsule. I plan on using it on the day it expires, at whatever level I will be then. Stopped at 153 a bit before 2x ended.

Also, I would be interested in buying any mercedes book in bellocan, except for the dual bowgun expert ones.

The Mercedes Journey Day 3: Level 120-128

Today wasn’t such a good day for leveling. I trained a bit this morning from 120-121. I logged back on in the middle of 2x, and all my friends already had parties. I tried partying with randoms but it wasn’t successful, so I went to do the pap prequests. While doing them, I found a nice little Angelic Blessing recipe at MTD’s ^^. After completing all of the prequests, I went to kill pap. Almost beat him when he killed me… I’m so fail… I got myself another piece of cracked dimension and gave it another try.I beat him. I was on 2x+all the usual buffs, and it made me level once. I was now 122. I went to LHC for the rest of the event and managed to get to 124 before it ended. I grinded the last levels on 1x+all the usual buffs, but was too tired to continue past 128. Tomorrow will be a big day. I plan on passing 150 since I have a lot of free time, and there is a 2x exp event scheduled onto everyone’s 2x card, making it 4x.

The Mercedes Journey Day 3: Level 101-120

Yay! I am finally a 4th job Mercedes! In only 3 days of playing moderately. We can see how easy this game got =/ let’s see how I made it.

I logged in during the 2x. Since DGP were packed, I went to the pirate mini dungeon in herb town as usual. I stayed here with pendant of the spirit, 1.5x and elf’s blessing until level 110. I could now go to LHC! Me and some friends made a party and trained here until I got to 120. Too bad there was only 10 minutes left of 2x when we started. Oh well, I got to 120, and that is all that matters!

The Mercedes Journey Day 2: Level 62-101

I wasn’t as busy as yesterday today, therefore I leveled a lot more. First, I trained at jesters with the legend never give up buff, the pendant of the spirit buff (3 hours) and the elven blessing, which brought me to about 1.9x exp. It was pretty fast, and I hit 70 in about an hour. I received the 3rd job advancement as soon as I leveled… I guess Nexon were too lazy to make a quest for the 3rd job advancement (and 4th job advancement too). After leveling, I used the potion from the 1+1 event and got up to level 81 instantly. After putting my SP and AP, I headed to gallos. Sadly, I wasn’t high level enough and the exp wasn’t very good. I decided to go to Lab Area C-2 instead. The exp was much better here. My 2x card started while I was training there. I leveled to 90, and thought it was time for pirates in herb town. The first few levels here were a bit slower, but my damage went up very fast and at 95, I was getting unbelievably fast exp. Since I afked a lot during the 2x, it ended when I was level 98. Level 98-100 was much slower, but I finally did it! I got to level 100! I could finally equip the 127 att dual bowgun I made! After that, I hunted for some monster park tickets and did 5 runs for the trophy. I leveled while doing it. Before logging off, I tried a bit of the ghost pirate to see if the exp was good, and it was okay. I’m hoping for 120+ tomorrow. Oh, and I also bought the 7 days santa set in the cash shop which was 99nx a piece.

The Mercedes Journey Day 1: Level 10-62

Today was the release date of the mercedes, alongside many events. I was really hyped, but, due to irl stuff, I couldn’t play for most of the day. When I logged on, some of my friends were already level 14x -_-. I was supposed to race with them, but I guess I already lost lol.

I didn’t waste much time, and I created my mercedes right away. I made a male one called CarOyabin. I choose this name because MercedesOyabin was too long, MercOyabin was too ugly, and, well, mercedes is a char ^^. I watched the introduction (which was really good by the way), and awakened from the curse as a level 10 mercedes. I noticed that, compared to most characters, mercedes is an independant person. She gives herself quests, and even job advancements! I did some quests up to level 20 then went to henesys to hunt some golems. I checked the cash shop and noticed I got a 2x card-everyday. Well I think everybody got one, but that’s still a pleasant surprise. Luckily, I was in the time of the 2x (1-5 pm pst), so I leveled pretty fast. At level 30, I got the 2nd job advancement through a really easy quest. I then used the 1+1 level up potion to get to level 36. I decided to go to kerning square, but ti was really packed. I managed to get a map at the bunny mannequins, and hunted there until level 45. From there, I traveled to New Leaf  City and went to voodoos/hoodoos. I trained here for quite a long time. A bishop even asked to sell me hs for very cheap. I accepted, and the exp gain was unbelievably fast. At level 55, I went to try out sand rats in ariant, but they were slow and my 2x effect stopped. I was about to logg off but went to check if there was any free jester map in the toy room. Luckily, I found one. Some people tried to ks me but I was stronger than them, and I managed to train quite efficiently. I used a 1.5x buff from the Legend never give up! event and managed to get to 62 with about 15% exp. I went to try a solo monster park run, and logged off. I also bought the unicorn mount for only 10m mesos.

Overall, this class doesn’t deceive me. It’s the most fun class I ever played in 2nd job, and 3rd and 4th will be even better! The combos are just amazing!

Mercedes is coming. Mapleraph is rebirthed!

First of all, I do know I said I was coming back, but didn’t quite came back. I really tried, but I had lost all of my interest for blogging. I didn’t quit maple, and, eventhough I took some breaks, I’m still there now. So… What happened during these few months? I decided to remake my ranger that I had before big bang, and got it up to level 152 really fast. I’m not very proud of this character, because most of my 110+ life was spent leeching off friends, training on glitched maps, or a mix of both. I completely quit my mechanic, which became totally uninteresting for me.

On the subject of Mercedes now. When I first saw this class on kms, I wasn’t particularly excited. A while ago, I checked it out once more, and I started to like this class more and more. Now, I know I’m wanting to make it my new main character. I’ve been preparing for it for some days, and will continue up to the release. Right now, I’m working on making the best equipment I can afford for my new character, while keeping some money for the Mercedes mastery books. Hopefully I get to be well-prepared for release! BladerOyabin is level 90!

So, yesterday, I finally got him there and got the mask. I don’t think I’ll play him for a while since i’m really really poor and can’t even afford a scar/zhelm or % luk equips. I’ll go back to playing my mech and wait until I have enough money. The mask is actually a very nice boost for all my characters and I’m happy I took the time to get it. I will probably come back with an update for the upcoming age of heroes maintenance which I’m quite hyped for. Have fun in the meantime guys!

A while before Chaos arrived, I decided to come back to maple, as I was getting really hyped for all the changes that it had to offer. I’ll stop blogging about my mechanic’s life, and will focus on all of my characters. I made a dual blader using the jumpstart event, and plan on getting it to at least 90 for the mask, and maybe more. I also got my dawn warrior to 110, but couldn’t manage to get it to 120 because it’s nerfed. I will eventually finish it, but I’m focusing on my DB for now. I can’t wait for

Day 48-60: fast update, may stop blogging for a while =(

Sorry for updating that late T.T. I procrastinated a lot this week to the point I was too discouraged to make a complete article… I might stop blogging for a while too, but I’ll still play maple. A lot of things happened in these 2 weeks. I trained at Lionheart Castle up to level 142, did some zak runs, an attempt of von leon with guild (lol), and failed missile tank 20 that I bought for 90m… So, that’s probably all for this blog entry =/ See ya when I start blogging back =D

Day 45-48! Level up to 134, And aftershock is coming tonight!

Nothing much happened these days. I was soooo bored that I even started playing dfo back because maple was soo boring. But this will change, as aftershock is coming tonight!

Maple during the last days…

Like I said earlier, I did little to nothing these days. I leveled to 134, but then it was all. I trained at red dragon turtles,and killed anego and samurai. I also blew up my 3 lined scarlion helmet with a helmet dex 30%, then bought a clean unpot one, and blew it up on potential scroll -_-. This had a lot of impacts on my character. I couldn’t wear my overall and gun, which I had spent tons of mesos on. A friend helped me to loot a free scarlion helm in a run, because I didn’t have anough money for a new one (yes, I know I’m poor…) and I successfully potted it. Came out 2 lines T.T. But still, I was able to wear my gun. I still can’t wear my overall, so I bought a lv 90 one while waiting for my 4 more str. My range was almost back to normal…

Aftershock is coming!!!

The patch for aftershock is coming soon! What will be in this patch? A lot of good stuff!

Firstly, the ultimate adventurers are coming. To create them, you must have a cygnus character lv 120. The ultimate adventurer is like a normal adventurer, but he starts at level 50 and get one extra cygnus skill. For extra informations about ultimate adventurers, go see at http://spadow.wordpress.com/ .

Since I don’t really plan on having an ultimate adventurer for now, I prefer the second part of the update: Lion King Castle. This is an aera designed for level 120-200, but the levels 12x, and maybe 13x will have some trouble finding a party due to their low damage. What’s so special about this area is that all of the mobs there are mini bosses with 7-11m hp. The other special thing is that when you party with 6 people, you get 250% exp. Godly, isn’t it? This will probably be my main training place for a good while!

There are some events added in this patch too, like evolving ring event 2, and guild revamp. I’m really excited!
